500 Casks
In contact with the wood of the casks, the colour of Armagnac changes from straw-coloured yellow to dark amber, through golden yellow and light amber. Young Armagnac fragrances are fruity and flowery. Later, the tannin of the casks gives it woody, spicy and vanilla touch, then a rancio flavour after 15 years ageing.
